that's another one that you've taken away from me this year.
i know it's inevitable.
but sometimes i just wished that it's not.

i came into work with a very confused stomach.
and no one likes to start off their day with a confused stomach.

then the news hit me.
i just sat at my desk and paused.
suddenly, everything didn't matter anymore.
i realise that this job is not as easy as it seems.
at that moment, i hated my job.

we come, we live and we die.

it's my honour to have known you.
and for the rest of today,
i will smile for you.
